Friday 23rd: Inspiring Australians Oration.

Susan Alberti AC has agreed to present the 2018 Inspiring Australians Oration. This event is to be held at Federation Square, in Deakin Edge, commencing at 11:00am. Friday 23rd: North Central Suburbs.

Visit and tour of Etihad Stadium commencing at 11:00am. The cost of the tour is $10 per person. For those wishing to stay on for lunch afterwards lunch is available (at your cost) at the Arena View Restaurant between 12-3pm. The cafe has an A La Carte menu-meals around $20.00. Wednesday 19th: Eastern Suburbs Regional Group

Lunch at the Mitcham Hotel in a private space, commencing at 12 noon. Lunch will be followed by an afternoon musical comedy production at the Whitehorse Centre, which starts at 2.00pm. Lunch will be at members’ expense, with great Seniors’ Meals being available.  Bookings for the theatre will be $16.00 per head. Thursday  20th: South Central Suburbs Regional Group

Midyear two course lunch at Kingston Heath Golf Club. Guest Speaker is Dr Helen Drennen AM BA BSC (Hons) PhD, Dip Ed, AMP, FACE, FACEL—Principal of one of Australia’s leading co-educational independent schools—Wesley College. Tuesday 25th: Regional Groups meeting

The meeting is to be held between 1:00pm and 3:00pm at the RACV Club, 501 Bourke St Melbourne following a lunch commencing at 12 Noon at the RACV.

 

Wednesday 26th: Barwon Regional Group

5.30pm to 7.00pm City of Greater Geelong Annual Civic Reception for 2017 Australia Day and Queen’s Birthday recipients; venue is The Gordon Gallery. Dr Kathy Alexander Chair of City of Greater Geelong Administrators will formally host and welcome recipients and their families/friends to this event. Invitations will be mailed to recipients from CoGG mid to late June.

Thursday 17th: Barwon Regional Group.

Primary School Citizenship Award presentation and morning tea from 10.30am to 12noon at Geelong RSL. 2017 is the third year of this Award. Further details will be available end of June.
