North America

About Us

Every year since the North America Regional Group was established; one or more members lay a wreath at the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Korean War Memorial on Washington, DC’s Mall, and then participate in functions at the Australian and New Zealand Embassies during the day.

For the most part, however, given the widely-dispersed membership of the group, the OAA-NARG mostly serves as a point of contact for visiting Order of Australia honours recipients and Association members both from within its large area, and Australia and the international community.

One of the main aims of each Branch and Regional Group of The Order of Australia Association is to raise awareness about The Order of Australia and the nomination process.
