Order of Australia Association members, Order of Australia recipients and guests are invited to attend the Virtual Event via ZOOM 5.30pm to 6.45pm

PHARAOH Introduction Talk and Exhibition Winter Masterpieces

Sunday 4 August
10.45am start. Meet at the National Gallery Victoria International Information Desk located on the ground level of the gallery. A NGV Program Assistant will direct OAA members and guests to the Clemenger Theatre for the Pharaoh Introductory Talk. Exhibition tickets will be distributed at the end of the talk.
Pharaoh, the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces 2024 exhibition explores the fascinating lives, myths and images of ancient Egypt’s all-powerful kings with over 500 exquisite works of art, design and architecture.
PHARAOH Introduction Talk and Exhibition is open to OAA members and guests.
Note: Large OA medals may be worn for this event
Cost: $52 per person incl. GST covers the Introductory Talk and Exhibition.

For Order of Australia recipients who join the Association in 2024.
Event commences 1.15pm at Alex Theatre St Kilda within walking distance of rail and tram services including from Melbourne CBD/Southern Cross Station.
There is no cost for the member and guest to attend

End of Year Dinner

Thursday 21 November
End of Year Dinner for OAA members and guests at Stamford Plaza Melbourne 111 Little Collins Street, Melbourne. 6.15pm for 6.30pm seating.
Speakers: 
Pamela Clark AO: Order of Australia citation – For distinguished service to the dental profession, particularly through a range of roles with national and international associations, as a supporter of research and technical dental standards, and to manufacturing
2018 OAA Foundation scholarship recipient Hannah Gandy will also speak at this event

Join us to celebrate mid-winter and a traditional Christmas Dinner in Ferntree Gully
Tuesday, 23 July 2024 1812 Theatre Visit: 11:00 am Lunch: 12:30 pm
Before our Christmas in July luncheon, we are privileged to have the opportunity for a special behind-the-scenes visit to the 1812 Theatre, just across the road from the Royal FTG Hotel which is the lunch venue. We will see all of the stage and back-stage areas, the lighting and sound room, and learn about the activities which are involved in the presentation of live theatre. There is a large car park at the rear of the hotel,1200 Burwood Hwy, Ferntree Gully.
The theatre tour is free and we will pay individually for lunch.
Everyone is invited to come along and make new friends with other members of The Order of Australia Association. This event is open to all members, families and friends of The OAA so you may like to invite some friends to join you.
