Investiture Day Lunch

Southern Region Group Morning Tea

What: Morning tea.  The guest speaker will be Andy Spate AM
When: Wednesday, 25 June 2025 at 10.00 am.
Andy has extensive experience in Australia and internationally in the fields of cave and karst research and management. More recently he has been involved in World Heritage and UNESCO Global Geoparks.

Annual General Meeting

The Tasmania Branch AGM will be held at the Perth Community Centre.  A Member’s Forum will follow the AGM then a light lunch will be available.  The guest speaker will be Prof. Gretta Pecl AM

Prof. Pecl was recognised in the 2024 King’s Birthday honours “For significant service to science, particularly ecological research, and to tertiary education.”  She is the Professor of Climate Change Ecology and Director of the Centre for Marine Socio-ecology at the UTAS Institute of Marine and Antarctic Science based in Hobart.
