Christopher Dunne OAM, served in the Royal Australian Air Force for 38 years. His first position was as a Fitter and Turner tradesman. Throughout his service, he was posted to RAAF Amberley, RAAF Butterworth, RAAF Wagga (instructor), RAAF Williamtown (Unit and Base WOD) and Canberra as the Air Force Warrant Officer Disciplinary.  His final posting was in Sydney at Headquarters Joint Operations Command, as the Command Warrant Officer, whose task was Joint Operations with the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Regular Army and the Royal Australian Air Force in joint operations throughout the world.

In 2007, Christopher and his wife Gail founded the Long Ride which is a motorcycle charity event, supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia, in raising awareness of prostate cancer and men’s health matters throughout Australia. In the 12 years of operation, this event has raised over $2m for research and prostate care nursing, and developing a better understanding of men’s health matters in many communities throughout Australia.

The position of Web Coordinator is to assist both the NSW Branch and Regional Convenors to promote activities and events throughout NSW for the NSW Branch of the Order of Australia Association.
