Wednesday 25 November 2026	Members’ Christmas Fellowship Lunch TIME: 12 Noon to 3pm (arrival from 11:30am) COST: Will be between $65 and $7O (GST incl) per person – To be confirmed Guest speaker: Greg Early AM APM. former Assistant Commissioner in the Queensland Police Service. Greg joined the Queensland Police Force on 23 January 1956 – almost 71 years ago – when he was 15 and retired as the Assistant Commissioner in charge of the South Eastern Police Region, based at Surfers Paradise, on 23 January 1999 after 43 years service. Greg will tell us how being taught shorthand and touch typing enabled him to become a trusted and effective administrator; also how he was Personal Assistant to two Commissioners, one of whom was proven to be corrupt.
